As an executive coach I believe that while all individuals have an ability to respond to change, I understand that in organisations change occurs in relationship to others and/or our environment,  not in isolation to oneself. I am particularly interested in how our context, culture, gender, race, ethnicity, class intersect and how this shapes the possibility for complex change to be realised in challenging and uncertain conditions in the current situation.  My perspective is informed by my practical hands-on experience of working with boards and senior executives within different organisations. I am informed by the most recent psychological and organisational research as well as my ongoing research into ways of working with  individuals and groups. I am committed to developing clients capacity for trusting different ways of enquiry and knowing in ambiguous circumstances. As part of my practice I offer a confidential executive feedback process. As well as one to one and reflective team coaching, I offer a coaching in leadership practice, where I accompany a client in his/her/their leadership role and offer intensive, in the moment executive coaching for high performing senior leaders.

I  have considerable experience of working sensitively within and across different organisational and international cultures in Europe and the USA. I also have in-depth knowledge of working with the complexities of inclusion and diversity in relation to gender identity, sexual orientation, colour, race and ethnicity with leaders.  Much of my current work is in the domain of coaching leadership groups/boards and organisations through the process of change and development both at a collective and role level in private and public organisations. Some recent specific assignments include:

  • Facilitating Boards of Central Government, Local Government and Charities when new teams are being formed and on occasions when tensions, conflict and difference prevail
  • Executive coaching to individuals and teams working in the FTSE 100,  health sector and social media
  • Executive team coaching and facilitating action learning groups across different public, private and global organisations
  • Group supervision of OD consultants and Executive Coaches
